Mack Trucks (Greensboro, N.C.) completed an $84 million renovation and expansion of its Lehigh Valley operations in Macungie, Pa., in September.
The company added 300,000 square feet of space to its manufacturing facility and added new equipment and IT systems, it says. A new audit building will allow it to perform quality checks on the vehicles it makes, it says. A “customer adaptation center” will support its new Mack LR Electric collection vehicles, which it will begin selling later this year. The facility, which has been producing Mack trucks since 1975, is where it assembles all its heavy-duty trucks. Visit www.macktrucks.com.
