  • The Association of Plastic Recyclers (Washington, D.C.) announced seven new members of its Recycling Demand Champions campaign in June: Fraser Plastics (Maple Ridge, British Columbia), Fusion Packaging (Dallas), Intertape Polymer Group (Montreal), rPlanet Earth (Vernon, Calif.), Sabert (Sayreville, N.J.), Silgan Dispensing (Richmond, Va.), and Westfall Technik (Las Vegas).
  • Doosan Infracore North America (Suwanee, Ga.) has selected equipment rental and sales company EquipmentShare (Auckland, New Zealand) to offer its full line of products—
  • World crude steel output and ferrous scrap use in steelmaking both increased 3.4% in 2019 compared with 2018, while international trade in steel scrap decreased 5.8%, according to the Bureau of International Recycling’s (Brussels) 11th edition of World Steel Recycling in Figures, released in late May.
