  • The Aluminum Association (Arlington, Va.), the Can Manufacturers Institute (Washington, D.C.), the Glass Packaging Institute (Arlington, Va.), and the National Association for PET Container Resources (Charlotte, N.C.)—trade associations representing aluminum, glass, and PET container manufacturers—are urging the continuation or resumption of container deposit-return systems in the 10 deposit-program states as government officials make policy decisions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Packaging manufacturer Cascades (Kingsey Falls, Quebec) is manufacturing pre-cut medical visor parts using recycled plastic in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
